FIRST AID AT WORK INSTRUCTOR
Emergency First Response First Aid at Work-Asia Pacific is a CPR and first aid course specifically designed to meet workplace requirements in the Asia Pacific region. Occupational health and safety legislation in many countries stipulate that businesses must have first aid trained personnel on staff and the Emergency First Response First Aid at Work (Asia Pacific) course can be used to meet this requirement.
The EFR First Aid at Work Program now includes the nationally recognised unit of competency to HLTFA301B- Provide First Aid.
EFR First Aid at Work (Asia Pacific) currently meets the requirements in following Australian states/territories:
Australia
New South Wales – Work Cover NSW approval #01346, Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory and Tasmania.
Further approvals are currently being sought and updates will be posted to provide the latest information on where Emergency First Response First Aid at Work (Asia Pacific) course can be used.
PREREQUISITES
- Must be a current EFR Instructor with the Care for Children Instructor rating
- Must hold at the participant level, either the First Aid at Work certification or an equivalent Senior First Aid Level II certification (not EFR Primary & Secondary Care)
Note: Either before or after the EFR First Aid at Work Instructor Program, the applicant must provide PADI with a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (TAA40104) or those trained prior to November 2005, Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (BSZ40198).
