IDC STAFF INSTRUCTOR
Instructors who have gone beyond the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer certification have special credentials that allow them to teach PADI Instructor Development Courses or programs within the IDC. PADI IDC Staff Instructors can teach the same AI course in its entirety and may assist PADI Course Directors with teaching Open Water Scuba Instructors.
WHAT WILL I DO?
During you IDC Staff Instructor course at Aquatic Adventures, you will master instructor-level dive theory, dive skills, knowledge development teaching presentations and confined water teaching presentations. You will also audit a complete IDC.

COURSE PREREQUISITES
- PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer
- Be at least 18 years of age
REQUIRED MATERIALS
The following materials/fees are required/payable by you prior to the beginning of the IDC Staff Instructor course and are available at Aquatic Adventures:
- PADI Course Director Manual
- Confined Water Presentation Evaluation Slate
- Open Water Presentation Evaluation Slate
- Plus All IDC Required Materials- see list on top of page 10
- IDC Staff Instructor registration fee with PADI
COURSE FEES- $790
The fee for the IDC Staff Instructor includes the following;
- Professional tuition
- Counselling and Career Advice
- Cylinder & weight belt hire (if required) during IDC audit
- Air fills during IDC audit
- Use of swimming pool during IDC audit
- Use of other texts during course
