Padi Night Diver Specialty
When you go night diving in melbourne you’ll discover a whole new awesome marine world .
Ever dive site is completely different at night , as many different underwater fish,creatures and plant life come alive at night and the day time marine life goes to sleep therefore under water photography at night is also very popular.The night diver course is a must if you wish to join in our frequent club night dives, and it counts towards your master scuba diver certification.

- Entries, exits and navigation at night
- Using dive lights and night diving equipment
- An introduction to Melbourne’s nocturnal aquatic life.
Day one – Night Diver Evening Theory , Tonight we will review your knowledge of night diving and learn how to apply it to scuba diving.
We will teach you about the different marine creatures that inhabit melbourne dive sites under the cover of night, the different types of equipment used, how to navigate and communicate whilst night diving .
Night Two and three – Over two fun filled nights we will complete the dives
Now its time dive, The destination of the dive sites will be determined accordingly with the tides and what the weather is doing
- PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organisation)
- Minimum age is 12 years old
Hardware ,Mask, snorkel, boots, fins, hood & gloves. You will also need a knife, torch, backup torch, underwater slate, dive strobe.
A scuba diver at this level of training it is recommended that you are diving in your own scuba gear because this is the safest and easiest way for you to learn.
However if you do not have your own hardware, rental is available from our store.
Where Can You Go From Here?
Your Adventures In Diving “Night Adventure Dive” may count towards the Night Diver Specialty course at instructor discretion. In addition, the Night Diver Specialty course counts as one of five Specialty courses required for your Master Scuba Diver certification.
